Justine began practicing yoga at least 25 years ago and obtained her 200 hour certification in 2019 following a trip to India. She has since completed 1000 hours of teaching yoga and now is E-RYT 200 and YACEP credentialed. Justine also has her Wellness Coaching, Yin and Reiki level one certifications, in order to better serve others with holistic healing modalities. Her creative yoga classes incorporate many world traditions from Ayurvedic science, Xigong and Tai Chi.
Justine is a member of the Rhode Island Mindfulness community and attends Sangha virtually many days of the week to further her own practice. She found the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction program at Brown Professional Studies to be very fulfilling and plans to become certified to teach MBSR. She follows the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh with gratitude for each brand-new day.
You will find Justine on sunny or rainy days on her walks in nature, lighting up when she sees our local great blue herons, which represent determination.
