Jošquin (pronounced “Josh-kwin”) began their yoga journey in 2018 focusing on meditation and breathwork but it wasn’t until 2019 that they began practicing the asanas (physical postures) of yoga. Jošquin has been teaching yoga for over a year: 200hr. RYT (Yoga with Carson Academy/2022). They strive for creating an inclusive atmosphere, with experience instructing people of all ages and abilities—from children, to elderly, to athletes, to beginners—there is a place for everyone.
Jošquin’s teaching style is a slow flow vinyasa. Their classes emphasize safety and alignment, encouraging students to take their practice with gentleness and intentional mindfulness.
“I’m as much a student as every other person who walks into the studio. That’s why I always welcome feedback — it’s how I improve my practice and classes, and that’s a life long journey.”
Outside of teaching, Jošquin has been described by their loved ones as “a playful forest entity” who is passionate about music, gardening, fostering communities of resilience and love, and going with the flow of life.
